At Blue Sky Relocation, we provide moving and relocation services with integrity to homeowners and businesses across the UK. As such, we make it one of our top priorities to ensure that our workforce and practices are free of modern day slavery and human trafficking so that our clients can have every faith in our ethical procedures.

How we adhere to modern slavery guidelines

We ensure we undertake all recommended employment initiatives to promote fair human rights and eliminate exploitation in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We acknowledge our responsibility to protect our workers and to investigate the companies that we partner with to ensure that no member of the team is left vulnerable to trafficking or other health and safety and wellbeing risks. Should any individual have cause for concern, they are able to raise this with us via our internal processes.

In accordance with regulations, full identity and UK right-to-work checks are carried out on new and existing employees, and each individual has their human and employment rights protected by their contract of employment with us, which includes being able to provide notice of their intent to terminate employment at any time.

We commit to the fair treatment of our workers by paying at least the National Minimum Wage in line with UK law, as well as provisioning the recommended holiday time and designated breaks to protect our workers’ welfare, and offering the legal recommendations on sick and maternity/paternity leave in line with individual contracts.

Full training and refreshers are given to all new and employed workers and contractors at Blue Sky Relocation so that they can perform their duties to the best of their abilities, in line with our corporate policies and to safeguard their health.
