Booking and the free survey
Every house move starts with a free video or home survey so we can see the volume of your belongings rather than estimate it over the phone. That survey is what allows us to send a fixed written quote, covering the crew, vehicle, materials and insurance, with no extra charges added once the vans arrive.
The week before you move
We confirm your crew size, vehicle and arrival time a few days ahead, and deliver any boxes or packing materials you have ordered in advance. If you are packing some rooms yourself, our packing supplies page has a rough guide to how many boxes different property sizes typically need.
On moving day
Our uniformed crew arrives at the agreed time, protects floors, doorways and bannisters, and loads the vehicle methodically so nothing is damaged in transit. Furniture is dismantled where needed and every item is handled with the same care whether it is flat-pack or an antique.
Arriving at your new home
We unload in the order that suits you, rebuild beds and furniture, and position boxes in the rooms you have labelled them for. If your completion is delayed, our free date changes and no-charge key-waiting mean a slipping chain does not become an extra bill.
If your dates do not line up
Sometimes a sale completes before a purchase, or you need to be out of a rental before the new place is ready. Our containerised storage bridges that gap, with your belongings sealed into the same container from collection to delivery.
