How to Get Rid of Boxes After Moving House
A three bedroom move leaves behind sixty or seventy boxes. Very few need to go in a skip.
Ask your removal company first

Sell or give away
Local selling groups and community apps clear a full set of boxes within a day, usually for free collection from your driveway.
Recycling properly
Remove all tape and labels, flatten every box and check your council's limit on side waste. Most tips take unlimited flattened cardboard.
Keep a few back
Hold on to five or six sturdy cartons for storage and future use. Wardrobe boxes in particular are worth keeping.
